Perrie Edwards and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are officially married!
The Daily Mail reported that the Little Mix star and soccer player exchanged vows on Saturday (June 13) in an intimate ceremony in Portugal. The couple, who have been together for eight years, said “I do” in Quinta do Lago, with around 70 close friends and family in attendance.
According to photos taken by the outlet, Edwards, 32, arrived at a small Catholic church around 15, wearing a lace dress with long sleeves and a corset-like bodice. She left the venue with a bouquet of white calla lilies hand in hand with her new husband.
After the service, guests gathered at the nearby Parrilla Natural restaurant for a reception overlooking one of the Algarve’s most scenic spots.
The wedding marks a new chapter for the couple, who began dating in 2017 and became engaged in 2022. They already share two children together: son Axel and daughter Alanis Valentine, who was born just five months ago.
Before the ceremony, the newlyweds also hosted a lavish pre-wedding celebration.
Despite earlier reports, Perrie’s former Little Mix bandmate Jade Thirlwall was not present when she performed at the Primavera Sound festival in Porto. It is not clear if bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock was present. Unsurprisingly, the fourth Little Mix member, Jesy Nelson, was not present at the wedding party when she fell in love with Edwards.
Edwards recently opened up about the friendship’s fallout during an appearance on The big company podcast earlier this week, where she also opened up about how Oxlade-Chamberlain helped her heal from her previous “toxic” relationship with former One Direction member Zayn Malik.
