Floyd “Money” Mayweather built a fortune around his famous nickname. Now he might have some explaining to do.

The undefeated boxing icon is facing serious jail time after allegedly writing a bad check for a luxury watch in Las Vegas.

Clark County prosecutors hit the 49-year-old fighter with two serious felony charges, including theft of property valued at more than $100,000 and passing a check with intent to defraud.

Authorities say Mayweather’s alleged theft stems from a New Year’s Eve shopping spree in 2024 when he set his sights on a rare Audemars Piguet watch.

Mayweather paid with a $200,000 check from a Wells Fargo account, but the bank quickly returned it for insufficient funds.

Boutique owners reportedly spent over a year trying to raise the cash quietly.

They even sent a certified letter of demand to avoid a public scandal, but Mayweather allegedly pranked them.

A criminal summons followed, and Mayweather’s defense team appeared on his behalf in a Las Vegas court on Monday.

If the self-proclaimed billionaire is convicted of both crimes, he faces a maximum of 24 years behind bars.

This $200,000 bad check appears to be just the tip of a massive financial iceberg.

A judge also recently ordered him to pay $1 million in child support to a former dancer, and he is fighting separate civil lawsuits over unpaid bills for private jet services and luxury Manhattan apartment rentals.

The aging star has quickly lined up a number of upcoming exhibition bouts along with a highly anticipated September rematch against Manny Pacquiao.
