Prince William was turning a house into a lovely ‘home’ to live in on Tuesday.
The Prince of Wales was seen getting stuck in as he helped put together care packages filled with essentials to give new tenants a warm welcome as they embarked on the next chapter of their lives.
The video on Instagram shows a smile on his face as he carried chairs into the properties and worked with partners and local networks to ensure each house felt like a home from the moment residents walked in the door.
He was involved in all stages of the preparations before he took the time to meet the new residents and support staff in Langstane Boligforening.
The visit marked the completion of the homes, a milestone William was determined to celebrate in person after long championing the importance of giving people not just a roof over their head, but a place where they can truly belong.
Rather than pass up the opportunity, Prince William made sure he was there to welcome the residents himself, showing that creating a home is about more than bricks and mortar.
