Meghan Markle has been holding her breath as the meeting with King Charles is at stake after years of estrangement.
The Duchess of Sussex is due to arrive in the UK with her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, but will not be attending Prince Harry’s Invictus Games.
The reason for the trip is to finally let Archie and Lilibet meet and get to know their grandfather, King Charles.
However, Woman’s Day revealed that Meghan is quite “nervous” to set foot on British soil after bombshell comments against the company, given her image among Brits.
The source said: “Plans are tentatively in place for the whole family to enjoy FaceTime with the King.
“Barring drama or other last minute thoughts, it will go down in a private location sometime in the next 48 hours.”
The Duchess of Sussex has tried to remain calm and is looking forward to a successful visit to the UK.
“Meghan is understandably nervous, but she’s doing her best to stay calm and walk with an open mind,” an insider said.
Fans expect to see a glimpse of Archie and Lilibet reuniting with King Charles after years of family tension.
