T-Mobile has launched a nationwide beta for its new satellite telephone service so that users can keep in touch in areas without traditional cell coverage.
Called T-Satellite connects the feature automatically when you are out of reach of cellular networks, enabling basic connection in remote places. The beta is currently free to participate and open to anyone, regardless of carrier, through the end of July.
