- Apple TV has the green light Rejecteda new action thriller series
- James Marsden stars as a CIA agent who is suddenly fired
- A release date has yet to be confirmed
Rejected is an exciting new Apple TV series, and as soon as I saw the news, I knew it Paradise fans would be all over it. We’ve already seen James Marsden as the President in the hit Hulu thriller, and now he’s switching sides to play a CIA agent.
IN RejectedMarsden will play a legendary CIA caseworker, Brad Griffin, who is suddenly fired in the middle of a global hunt for an elusive assassin responsible for killing his colleague, derailing his plans to bring him down.
Now disgraced and ostracized from the world of intelligence, Brad takes a huge risk and decides to go after the $15 million federal bounty on the assassin’s head. This premise alone has me hooked.
What else do we know about Disavowed?
Rejected is created by Uncharted’p Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, based on an original concept by them. Marsden will also be an executive producer, so he has some involvement in the series.
Right now, beyond the initial synopsis, we don’t know when the series will air or any further details about it. But my first reaction is that it will be one to watch. Marsden recently starred in Apple TV Your friends and neighbors along with Jon Hamm as well, so he’s already been in a popular show for one of the top streaming services.
So far, so good. Although there isn’t much information out there, as someone who loved the thrill of it ParadiseI look forward to following Marsden again as he takes on another exciting role that is different from President Cal Bradford.
I’m already on the edge of my seat waiting for a teaser trailer.
