A bond between two friends on the “Monday Night Raw” roster appeared to be ruptured when Bayley called out Lyra Valkyria during the show in Dallas, which set the stage for a match at the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event in New York City.
Valkyria cracked in recent weeks. She turned on Bayley a few weeks ago when the two lost their shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Brie Bella and Paige. Since then, the character of Valkyria has undergone a radical transformation.

On Monday, Valkyria looked a little worse for wear. She seemed to lean into the character of a wrestler who looked broken from the string of recently missed opportunities.
Pro wrestling fans noticed the character change.
Valkyria let Baley loose when she was on the mic.

“You should be the one apologizing to me,” she told Bayley, “for holding me back for a whole year. That’s what you always do. You come out here and you make it look like you’re this victim. Oh, poor Bayley. Poor Bayley. Bayley’s friends always leave her in the dust. I’ve been stabbed all over my personality too. I just can’t get it out here.
“And maybe, just maybe, if you weren’t so obsessed with all the failures of your past friendships, you’d be able to take a step back and see all your problems. When I say this, I want to look you in the eye and say this. Everything I’ve ever made you feel good about, I lied. You’re not a locker room leader. You don’t belong as a doormat on your poster. And you’ve always been the worst of The Four Horsewomen.”
