It was her fifth technical foul of the season. When a player reaches their eighth technical foul, they are suspended for one game.

“Yeah, it’s ridiculous. I got a technical for clapping. So we should all just go on the calendar now and pick a fight that I get suspended for if I get a technical for clapping. (The referee) said I got a technical for clapping. If any technical should be taken away, it should be that one if that’s what they really gave me. it’s just ridiculous, I don’t get it at all.

“I want to play with emotion. I want to play with passion. If they want to give me a technical foul for clapping, so be it. That’s their choice. The league can go back and review that play, and I’d love to hear what they say about the reasoning for why I got the technical foul in that situation, why players on the other team didn’t get a technical foul, everybody got a technical foul. That’s not how they were handed out, I’d love to know.”

Indiana won the game, 86-77.

Clark had 24 points, nine assists and three rebounds in the win. It is the fifth game in a row where she has had at least 20 points.
