Chris ‘The Bear’ Fallica’s Best Bets, NFL Draft Round 1 Prediction

NEWYou can now listen to Pakinomist articles!

“Bear Bets” are real stakes Chris “The Bear” Fallica actually doing.

Let’s be honest: The picks are slim in the NFL Draft betting markets.

At this point, attractive prices are few and far between. You pay a premium based on information and there is not much to choose from for good bets close to -110 or -120.

But if you know anything about me, you know I can still find a place to sprinkle some money – even if it’s just a few bucks.

Here’s what I’m up to so far.

Over/Under 5.5 WRs in the first round

One bet I’m looking at is the Over/Under 5.5 for wide receivers drafted in the first round.

We don’t expect more than two quarterbacks to go in Round 1. We also don’t expect more than one running back to go in the first round. And interior defensive linemen are lacking.

The picks have to come from somewhere, and wide receiver is the area I think they will come from.

We know for sure Makai Lemon, Carnell Tate and Jordyn Tyson go in the first round. KC Concepción and Omar Cooper Jr. expected to be selected in the first round.

Denzel Boston is a wideout on the edge, and there are some who believe he could be a good weapon on contested catches. He would be very attractive for a candidate in the back end of Round 1.

I’ll put it down. I expect six WRs to hear their names called Thursday night.

PICK: Over 5.5 WR in first round (-155)
