England’s World Cup match could be delayed as supporters, who were asked to arrive two hours before kick-off, have been warned to remain in the Azteca grounds.
Earlier today, experts predicted a 63% chance of thunderstorms around Azteca. But it’s not the rain that can delay England against Mexico – lightning.
If strikers move within 8 miles of the stadium, FIFA security protocols could see England’s round of 16 match stopped for at least 30 minutes.
