Gentlemen season 2 release date arrives on Netflix just weeks before MobLand season 2 hits Paramount+ – as fans dub September ‘Guy Ritchie month’

Netflix confirms September 3rd release date for Gentlemen season 2, and drops the first teaser trailer
Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, Ray Winstone, Joley Richardson and Vinnie Jones are all set to return
The new series will consist of eight episodes, starting one year after the season 1 finale

Guy Ritchie fans have had their fill today: not only has Paramount+ dropped a release date and trailer for MobLand season 2, but Netflix has done the same for Gentlemen season 2 just hours after.

Gentlemen season 2 will be released on 3 September with MobLand season 2 will follow from 18 September. Both shows are created and produced by Ritchie, despite being on different streaming services.

As the streamer explains, “It’s been a year since Eddie (Theo James) and Susie (Kaya Scodelario) teamed up to work together in Bobby’s (Ray Winstone) criminal empire overseas. As they race to expand their business, the decisions Bobby makes seem increasingly unhealthy.

On top of this, there are two more unexpected cast bookings that aren’t actors at all… and one of them has taken me completely by surprise.

Boxer Chris Eubank Jr. has been cast in her acting debut in Season 2 alongside British TV presenter Maya Jama, who is known for hosting Love Island.

The casting news was originally announced in June 2025, although their roles have yet to be confirmed. Honestly, I can’t wait to see Eubank Jr.’s role pan out (though I think his father might have been better suited to the show’s gritty aristocratic mix).

At the time of writing, this is all the information we have about Season 2, but it’s incredibly likely that we’ll find out more, including the release of a full trailer, in the coming weeks.

During the release of 2026 action movie FuzeJames told TechRadar that season 2 is “fun, and still fun. But it’s also darker, goes a little wild.”

“Between this and Mobland, let’s declare September as Guy Ritchie month,” commented one fan on YouTube, with another adding: “Finally this show is coming back, everyone has been waiting 2 years. MobLand and Gentlemen coming out this month, can’t wait!!!”
