- Four possible iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max screens have been leaked
- These include light blue, dark grey, silver and dark cherry
- Dark Cherry is the highlight and online reactions seem very positive
Every year, Apple changes the colors of its iPhones to some degree, and this year seems to be no exception, with the four iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max shades seemingly leaked, including a striking new color.
Macworld has received information “from a source familiar with Apple’s supply chain” about the colors that the iPhone 18 Pro models will be sold in, and apparently they include light blue, dark gray, silver and dark cherry.
The latter of which is said to lead the line as a replacement for the Cosmic Orange shade you can get the iPhone 17 Pro in, and you can see what this and the dark gray and light blue shades might look like in the image below. The silver option is not pictured as it is said to match the current silver color.

A fantastic shade
Personally, I’m pretty smitten with both the light blue and the dark cherry, but especially the latter — in fact, if I didn’t want to hide the phone away in a case, that color might almost be enough to tempt me to upgrade on its own.
Reactions on Reddit are similarly positive, with posters saying things like “what a color”, “the dark cherry would definitely be my top pick”, “that cherry is insane” and “I want it now”.
That’s just a small sample of comments, but when it comes to Dark Cherry, they seem to be almost universally positive, so Apple could be on to a real winner here.
For reference, the iPhone 17 Pro range is sold in Silver, Deep Blue and Cosmic Orange, and while that range seems generally well-liked, it’s fair to say that Cosmic Orange was divisive, which so far doesn’t seem to be the case with Dark Cherry.
So I really hope this leak is accurate, but we probably won’t know for sure until September, when the next iPhones are expected to launch.
