Here we go again: Apple’s new iOS 27 Siri 2.0 may have a beta label attached and a waiting list before you can actually try it

  • The upcoming Siri 2.0 upgrade can be termed as a beta
  • There may also be a waiting list for access to its features
  • We expect it to be announced on Monday at WWDC 2026

It’s fair to say that Apple’s efforts to push Apple Intelligence upgrades into Siri and bring the digital assistant up to the level of Gemini or ChatGPT have been somewhat strained up to this point, and it looks like the big Siri 2.0 update we’re expecting very soon won’t be straightforward either.

Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, who frequently gets his hands on Apple information, says the revamped and AI-enhanced version of Siri launching with iOS 27 may initially come with a “beta” label attached.
