Philips has just launched a new version of one of my all-time favorite coffee machines. The Philips Baristina Latte solves the biggest problem with the original Baristina by adding an automatic steam wand to make frothing milk a breeze.

The classic Philips Baristina comes bundled with a separate milk frother (which my colleague Max Langridge awarded four stars out of five in his review), but the designers at Philips took note of feedback from customers who wanted an easier way to achieve just the right milk texture for drinks like lattes and cappuccinos.
