WWE star Danhausen received a ton of praise from pro wrestling fans, who also sided with the New York Knicks to help the franchise get rid of their curse and win the NBA title.
When Danhausen first “uncursed” the Knicks, star point guard Jalen Brunson wouldn’t comment on the voodoo magic happening off the court. Brunson noted that he and the Knicks’ coaches “acknowledge” Roman Reigns before every game.

As Brunson helped the Knicks secure their first NBA championship in 53 years, he finally commented on Danhausen’s “uncursed.”
“At first I was a little skeptical. But I mean, you have to believe it now,” Brunson said during an appearance Monday night on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
The Danhausen hype has been palpable in the days and weeks leading up to the NBA Finals. He “cursed” the Cleveland Cavaliers, which preceded the Knicks’ NBA Finals appearance.

“DANHAUSEN KNEW THEY BELIEVED,” he wrote on X. “Thank you @jalenbrunson1 @KarlTowns and @FallonTonight for confirming Danhausen’s cursing and uncursing powers to the world.”
Brunson was named NBA Finals MVP. He averaged 32.6 points per game in the five-game series. He scored 45 points in the clincher, leading the Knicks to another comeback victory.
