King Charles issues personal statement after Meghan Markle’s brave response

King Charles made a heartfelt confession in his personal message as he bid farewell to the US alongside Queen Camilla.

On April 30, the royal couple’s headline-making US tour ended, and to express gratitude to the Americans for their hospitality, the king and queen released a statement.

“Farewell and thank you for your warm welcome and the kind support you gave us during our first visit to the United States as King and Queen in this, your special anniversary year,” they wrote.

The message reads: “We are leaving a piece of ours behind [heart] bake and take a little of your home with us until next time… God Bless America. Charles R. & Camilla R.”

It is important to note that it was the British monarch’s first statement after Meghan Markle was accused of grabbing the limelight with her unexpected response to the Australia trip.

Speaking to The Australian Women’s Weekly, the Duchess of Sussex said: “My husband and I have such an attachment to Australia. I said to him the day we flew out. The only thing better than Australia is Australians.”

She also expressed her passion for fashion and discussed making choices that have a positive impact on society.

In particular, King Charles also mentioned in his message that he leaves a part of his heart, as the meeting between grandfather and grandchildren is still a dream, despite being so close to Archie and Lilibet.

It could be a hint to the Sussexes about his love for them.
