King Charles hosted a number of celebrities for a special event at Buckingham Palace.
On 3 June, the monarch attended the third annual Youth Opportunity Summit, which was attended by former England football manager Sir Gareth Southgate, actor Benedict Cumberbatch, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Justice David Lammy and Minister for Culture Lisa Nandy.
For the uninitiated, Sir Gareth King’s Trust is the Goodwill Ambassador, who collaborated on yet another program in times of a serious youth unemployment crisis.
As per GBthe program aims to “create a nationwide network of mentors, coaches and training programs designed to equip young people for the workplace.”
Prior to the King’s arrival at the summit, participants took part in mentoring sessions with key figures from business, sport, civil society and the media.
This comes after King Charles, Queen Camilla and Princess Kate marked the 125th anniversary of Cancer Research UK at St James Palace.
