King Charles and Queen Camilla’s second day at Royal Ascot had been quite busy as the turnout had been particularly impressive.
On Wednesday, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Anne and Sir Tim Laurence came to watch the races with their newlywed son and daughter-in-law. Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall were also in attendance.
However, there was another royal present among them, and he even had the honor of performing a special task. Hollywood superstar, Henry Cavill – best known for playing the Man of Steel – made a great appearance at the annual event.
The Enola Holmes star appeared to be channeling Sherlock Holmes as he joined a group of pals and was seen chatting. During an interview, Henry was asked what it was like watching the races and going down to the ring where all the royals – including King Charles, Prince William and Princess Kate were in attendance.
“It’s been absolutely fantastic,” said Henry, noting it was his first time at Royal Ascot and seeing the royals.
He added that while he watched the race with them in the ring, but he was not ‘with’ them.
Henry also revealed that he got the bell rung, signaling that the horses rounded the final turn.
