- We can only disclose The battle of the brave from Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy soundtrack
- Composer Olivier Derivière describes it as ‘one of the most epic tracks’ on the entire soundtrack
- Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy will be released on August 27, 2026
Action adventure game Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is the next game in the brilliant Plague tale series, and we’ve got one of the tracks from its soundtrack to reveal exclusively right here.
It is the one number that composer Olivier Derivière describes as “the most contrasting score from [the] A Plague Tale series”. The fight for the brave is an intense and pulsating song that goes big on percussion, crescendos and haunting chorus vocals. It’s not a cheerful tune.
Derivière says, “The battle of the braveis one of the most epic tracks on OST. We needed something truly glorious to capture the spirit of the ancient Minoan warriors. Instead of relying on a full orchestra, the uplifting energy of the magnificent Amalgamation Choir, combined with thunderous percussion, perfectly conveys the relentless challenge that lies ahead.”

Derivière goes on to say that “The echoing musical phrases also beautifully depict the deep connection between Sophia and the distant era, a mystical resonance that travels through the ages.”
Soundtracks for the first two Plague tale games are some of my absolute favorites from recent years, and fit perfectly with the bleak and dark stories of the games. From what the composer says about the wider soundtrack, it sounds like we’re in for something special.
“Resonancealthough part of A Plague Tale universe, is a very different game and therefore needed a fresh musical approach without abandoning the core emotions and musical traits of the franchise,” explains Derivière.
Using musicians and vocalists from Cyprus and Greece for an authentic feel, the Amalgamation Choir was approached to create an enchanting score to accompany Sophia’s adventure.
The Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy The soundtrack will launch on music streaming services and be available for digital download alongside the game on August 27 of this year.
