Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, Mayor of Kingstown season 5 does not yet have a confirmed release date.
However, we can try to figure out when the eight episodes will drop based on when previous seasons have been released:
- Season 1: 14 November 2021
- Season 2: 15 January 2023
- Season 3: 2 June 2024
- Season 4: 2 June 2025
If I were to put money on it, I’d guess that Season 5 will have a June 2027 release date, but Paramount could easily surprise us.

Mayor of Kingstown Season 5 Potential Reason
According to Paramount, here is a brief synopsis about the Season 5 plot: “In Mayor of Kingstown Season 5 FBI agent Russell Hardy (new series regular David Morse) arrives in Kingstown after the murder of Mike’s sister-in-law, Tracy McLusky (Nishi Munshi).
“A dedicated lawman, Agent Hardy threatens to upset the tenuous balance of power in Kingstown.”
Previously, co-creators Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon hinted that the show could run for as long as seven seasons, suggesting that narrative plans were already underway.
“Whether it goes that far or that’s where we’re going [who knows]but he has an ending and everybody knows about it,” Dillon told Screen Rant. “And when you talk to him, he’ll tell you in detail. So our goal is to get to the 7th season, because that’s as far as we can go, because that’s where he’s always had it. 15 years ago, he had it. 15 years ago, ‘So here’s how it starts, Mitch gets killed in the first season 10 pages, this episode, 10′ and Mike goes, and where does Mike go. Be.’ I’m like, “Holy f—, I’m in. Okay.”
