The Duchess of Sussex, trying to avoid her father Thomas Markle’s controversies, found herself again in the center of attention.
The 81-year-old has fallen in love with Filipino nurse Rio Caneda during his treatment at the Peru hospital.
According to a close family source: “Thomas told me he would marry her in a heartbeat and he tells the rest of the family that he is happier than he could have ever imagined at the thought of spending the rest of his life with Rio.”
Thomas underwent life-saving emergency surgery last December. His left leg below the knee was amputated due to a blood clot.
The Duchess’ father previously expressed his delight at finding love at this stage in his life.
