Aside from NEROLI taking me ages, even though it was my last word, this was a fairly straightforward game with a thankfully sensible (unlike yesterday) spangram.
Rare letters are hard to ignore in Strands, so I went straight to JASMINE – which immediately opened PEAR.
I was surprised that my favorite SMELL of lime was missing, but at least it came across as a non-playful word.

What is NYT Strands?
Strands is the NYT’s not-so-new-anymore word game, following Wordle and Connections. It’s now a full-fledged member of NYT’s game stable that’s been running for a year and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
