NEW Strands today (game #870) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #870, are…
- ENVELOPE
- LETTERHOUSE
- SHEET
- SHORT
- FILE
- NOTE CODE
- SPANGRAM: WRITING MATERIALS
- My assessment: Easy
- My score: Perfect
The act of writing a letter and sending it to someone in the mail has become not just a form of communication from a bygone era, but also an animal.
Organized postal networks date back to ancient Egypt, while King Henry VIII of Great Britain founded the Royal Mail in 1516. Today, however, they are less interested in delivering simple letters and have restructured their business to compete with parcel delivery companies.
It was then with nostalgia that I collected the ENVELOPE and ENVELOPE, as I thought about the last time I had used an actual MEASUREMENT.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Monday, July 20, Game #869)
- SMALL
- LITTLE
- MICROSCOPIC
- MINIATURE
- MINUS SPHERE
- SPANGRAM: ITSYBITSY
