The weather is scorching hot in the UK so my mind automatically went to words associated with staying cool.
However, I realized after seeing BEER that we were instead looking for cooling beverages – or BEVERAGECOOLERS according to the long spangram.
My cooling drink – iced tea – didn’t hit the mark, but next best I’d go with a KOMBUCHA, which is a bit of an upgrade on a regular tea drink, but part of the same family, like a distant fancy aunt.

Strands is the NYT’s not-so-new-anymore word game, following Wordle and Connections. It’s now a full-fledged member of NYT’s game stable that’s been running for a year and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
