NEW Strands today (game #840) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #840, are…
- SURE
- INTERNET
- REFRIGERATOR
- BREAKFAST
- LAUNDRY
- SPANGRAM: HOTEL FACILITIES
- My assessment: Easy
- My score: Perfect
“It’s included!” Surely that must mean batteries? After all, not having batteries included in something you just bought is really annoying and a consumer crisis to highlight.
Instead, after getting SECURITY and INTERNET, I decided that these were things (or HOTEL AMENITIES as the spangram puts it) included in your hotel bill – or more often not included in your hotel bill unless you want to pay extra.
The scariest “free thing” in a hotel room is, of course, the minibar – an amenity that can lead to financial ruin and is absolutely never “included.”
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Saturday, June 20, Game #839)
- CHANT
- MARQUEE
- BLOCK
- BLEACHER
- THE HAND
- SPANGRAM: GARDEN PARTY
