No challenge for tourists on eid

To facilitate tourists during Eidul Fitr -holidays, Abbottabad -traffic police have decided to suspend the issuance of challenge for three days. Challan devices remain inactive, ensuring that no tourist is fined during this period.

The decision was made during an important meeting on Thursday, where special traffic management measures were discussed to ensure even traffic flow under EID.

DSP headquarters, DSP traffic, DSP Mandian, DSP Havelian, Inspector Traffic and other senior traffic police officials, including the loading of the main control room and the traffic control room, attended the meeting.

Tariq Mahmood Khan, who approached the meeting, announced the SSP Traffic Warden, Tariq Mahmood Khan that all the traffic police staff have been canceled for Eid and officers will remain on duty. Special facility centers will be set up to help tourists and ensure that they do not face any difficulties.

He also instructed that strict discipline and respectful behavior should be maintained against tourists and citizens. “The pane’s or immoral behavior is not tolerated and the traffic flow must at all times be secured to prevent overload,” he emphasized.

In addition, traffic police staff will be present throughout the city to help the public in the event of emergencies. Citizens and tourists were invited to follow traffic rules and cooperation with law enforcement to ensure a trouble-free EID experience.
