In NBA Finals Game 4, rowdy behavior returned to Madison Square, New York, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
The New York Police Department made several arrests outside the MSG arena on Wednesday night after the crowds erupted into chaos.
The rowdy behavior began when the Knicks played their home NBA Finals Game 4 against the Spurs.
Videos of the rampage circulating online show the crowd climbing cars, street signs and light poles as NYPD officers arrest people.
However, the NYPD did not say how many arrests had been made, but confirmed that several arrests had been made outside the MSG arena.
Following the incident, Knicks owner James Dolan has canceled the watch party outside the MSG arena in what appears to be a clash with city administration.
NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani took to X (formerly Twitter) and announced the decision just before 9 p.m.
After a stunning comeback, the streets were flooded with Knicks fans buzzing with the victory that brings the series to 3-1.
NBA Finals Game 5 is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026 in San Antonio, Texas.
