The ice has never been warmer than Off Campus on Prime Video (well, if you completely overlook Heated rivalryanyway).
Season 1 has been a smash hit with fans and critics alike since its May 13 launch, adapting the first novel in Elle Kennedy’s book series of the same name.
Hannah (Ella Bright) and Garrett (Belmont Cameli) took on the roles of our romantic leads, with fans quick to praise the pair for their “insane” on-screen chemistry.
But very happy Bridgertoncan we expect every season of Off Campus to center on a different couple, which means the already renewed Off Campus season 2 will go in a slightly different direction.
Fortunately for us, we already have a handle on what that might look like. Here’s everything we know about everything from a shock cast departure to who we think will take the spotlight next Off Campus season 2 so far.
Off Campus Season 2 Release Window Predictions
Look at
Right now, release date predictions for Season 2 are sketchy. Production hasn’t even started yet, and we have no idea when this might change.
Based on this, we can assume that the earliest we’ll see new episodes is mid-2027, but my gut tells me we might be waiting until 2028.
Off Campus Season 2 Trailer: Is There One?
Don’t be stupid! It took us until the end of April 2026 to get one for season 1, so expect the first full trailer to arrive about four weeks before the second season arrives.
Off Campus season 2 cast
We expect the following main cast members to return for Off Campus season 2:
- Ella Bright as Hannah Wells
- Belmont Cameli as Garrett Graham
- Mika Abdalla as Allie Hayes
- Antonio Cipriano as John Logan
- Jalen Thomas Brooks as John Tucker
- Stephen Kalyn as Dean Di Laurentis
- Steve Howey as Phil Graham
- Julia Sarah Stone as Jules Logan
- Khobe Clarke as Beau Maxwell
- Phillipa Soo as Scarlett
Unfortunately, we already know that Justin Kohl (Josh Heuston) will not be returning for new episodes.
In an interview with TV Guide, showrunner Louisa Levy was asked if Justin would return. “Not next season, but I love Josh and I wouldn’t write him off if I can find a way to bring Justin back at some point,” she said.
“We never got a chance to meet Stella, who is the person he ends up with in the book. So maybe we’ll find a way to fold him into a future season. We don’t have him [available] next season, but you should never say never.”
Off Campus Season 2 Plot Predictions
If the rumors are true, Off Campus Season 2 will adapt Kennedy’s third novel in the series, Score. In addition to online speculation, this comes from the trailer and the season 1 finale set up for Allie and Dean as it is hinted that they will be the next romantic leads.
“I think more than anything, it’s almost just a way to reset the clock a little bit,” Abdalla told People Magazine. “We get so much Allie and Dean in the beginning or in the first season, it’s so fun and awesome and cool, but I think they’re flying a little too close to the sun right now.”
She continues, “uncertainty that [Allie] had at the beginning of season 1 is doubled. “Both of these people’s fears and insecurities have just been amplified. And so when we actually get to explore their relationship, we’re starting from an even more damaged, closed place. There’s work to be done.”
While Levy teased that which book will be adapted will be confirmed “very soon,” she also told TV Guide about the future of the show, “I have big plans, but I have to take it one step at a time, one season at a time. Next season we have the opportunity to really live in this ensemble world, which is really fun.”
“Happily ever afters are wonderful and so important to this genre of novel, but they’re not so useful for television because we have to keep telling stories. So part of that was my trying to give [viewers] they Hannah and Garrett happily ever after, which I wanted, which I know fans want, but still leaves something hanging and some questions going into Season 2 of, ‘How is this going to be resolved and how is this going to drive the story forward?’ I want people to tune into Season 2 and see what we have in store.”
Will there be more seasons of Off Campus?
Logically, the answer is yes. Kennedy’s original book series includes the following five books, each exploring a different romantic relationship at its core:
- The deal (Garrett & Hannah)
- The error (Logan & Grace)
- Score (Dean & Allie)
- The goal (Tucker & Sabrina)
- The legacy (updates on all four pairs)
With Season 2 set to skip the second book to adapt the third, there’s more than enough room for Off Campus to be renewed in the coming years.
Levy added in his TV Guide interview, “I don’t have a number in mind. I definitely have plans for the first four [Off Campus books] for starters, but as you know Hunter has his own book. There are some other books in there Briar U world, which I would love to be able to do, but at the moment I’m really focused on the first four books.”
However, there has been no official update from Amazon yet. It’s likely that there won’t be any further season renewals until after Season 2 has started airing, so watch this space.
