Oil prices retreated and stocks rose on Tuesday as investors eyed the possibility of a second round of US-Iran peace talks.
With the two-week ceasefire due to expire this week, the two countries appeared to be preparing to engage in another round of peace talks in Pakistan, even as tensions in the Strait of Hormuz escalated in the past few days.
