Spider-Man: Brand New Day is sure to bring an Olivia Rodrigo collaboration on the film’s original soundtrack, following recent tracks both the film series and the pop superstar shared with fans.
The 23-year-old musician took to Instagram and shared a collection of photos recently, including one that directly references the film as she poses with her hand in the infamous Spider-Man pose.
The post came right after the film’s official social media account shared a promo edit of Peter Parker and MJ, set against Rodrigo’s number, silly song playing in the background.
Eagle-eyed fans quickly flocked to social media, writing: “THE SPIDER HAND IN OLIVIA’S DUMP??” and “Also, rather coincidentally, SHE POSTED THIS DAY DAY STUPID SONG DO YOU EAT TRAILER CAME OUT..”
A third said, “Spiderlivia is upon us” and “we’re really getting another original soundtrack! SHE’S SKINNY SKINNY,” wrote another.
While several exclaimed, “OMGGGGGG IT’S HAPPENING.”
