ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan and Turkey have agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the maritime and transport sectors.
The understanding was reached during a meeting between the Federal Minister of Maritime Affairs, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, and Turkey’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, held in Istanbul.
During the meeting, the two ministers reviewed the existing cooperation between Pakistan and Turkey and discussed ways to expand cooperation in maritime affairs, transport infrastructure and logistics. They stressed the importance of closer coordination.
