Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have secretly taken steps to mend their relationship, it seems, as the couple were spotted in Athens, Greece.
A friend of the couple, Greek art curator Aliki Lampropoulos, shared a snap of Bea and Edo on her social media page, suggesting the pair were out on holiday.
King Charles’ niece and her husband have been under huge scrutiny over their marriage as friends have expressed concern for them. Rumors of battle tension were further fueled when Edo uncharacteristically skipped their sixth wedding anniversary tribute.
While speculation has been rampant, the couple looked all smiles and in good spirits in the recently released photo. Although Aliki’s photo post is recent, it is unclear when the photo was taken.
The image also featured an orange heart and a honey bee sticker, likely a reference to Beatrice’s nickname, which is pronounced “bee”.
Beatrice and Edo have not been seen together in public outings recently. The last time they were seen was with friends and when Princess Eugenie had announced her third pregnancy.
Fans noticed that she looked distressed amid the scandals with her parents Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, while Eugenie was still more calm.
A report said Edo’s missed wedding tribute could indicate “another nail being hammered into their marital coffin”, but the outing could indicate otherwise.
