Princess Beatrice has been under a lot of stress lately, especially as there is ongoing debate about the future of her royal residence.
The NAO’s audit report had revealed that the rent for Beatrice and her sister Eugenie’s grace-and-favour home was paid by the monarch. Following the review, insiders have suggested that an eviction notice could well be on the way for the York sisters.
Meanwhile, Beatrice, who is the mother of two young daughters, is also struggling in her married life with husband Edoardo, and a friend is getting worried.
According to the Daily Mails, Charlotte Griffiths revealed that Edoardo has been suspiciously spending a lot of time abroad when he should have been with his wife and young children, especially since the Epstein debacle threw them into turmoil.
Sources cited in the report share that Beatrice is known to “drown her sorrows” in a drink with friends or together in a pub. She “breaks down in floods of tears if she’s had one too many”.
Also, Beatrice’s husband is “acting like he’s single” when he was spotted partying in St. Tropez without his wife.
Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who runs a luxury property development company, struggles to find large clients, knowing that their lifestyles require a lot of funds. And with their royal benefits taken away, more would be needed.
“Things have caught up with him and I think a lot of people are distancing themselves from him,” another source revealed.
“Besides, work isn’t going well, which is probably why he goes abroad all the time. He’s looking for new clients. If this business goes bad, they might not have much money, especially if she’s cut off by the royals. Their lifestyle is extremely expensive.”
