ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) announced on Sunday that customers may face degradation of internet service in the evenings from May 11 to 18.
In a post on X, the company said maintenance activity was planned on one of its submarine cables to repair a failure by the International Cable Consortium. “Due to this maintenance, which will commence from tomorrow (Monday) and may last for seven days, customers may have to face disruptions to their internet service,” it said.
Last month, PTCL stated that maintenance activity was planned on one of its submarine cables to repair a failure by the consortium.
