Rick Hoffman’s new look sparked comparisons with Suits fictional character Harvey Specter, played by Gabriel Macht.
The actor, best known for playing fiercely ambitious senior lawyer Louis Litt in the hit Netflix series, looked unrecognizable in a new selfie.
Taking to Instagram last week, the 56-year-old debuted her dramatic transformation via a mirror selfie.
The snapshot captured his leaner figure and a longer hairstyle, a stark change from his signature shaved head.
The new hairstyle has thicker locks in the front and smooth sides. The selfie captured the actor wearing a white checkered shirt and gray pants while standing in what appeared to be a trailer.
“Last a minute,” the London is calling actor captioned the photo, adding in the caption, “#Circlingback.”
Hoffman’s post has Suits fans are talking about how he looks like Harvey. One fan wrote in a state of shock: “Harvey??” followed by another mash-up of the fictional characters’ names, “Louis Spectre.”
“Finally you became Harvey,” wrote a third. A fourth admirer added: “Harvey will be jealous of you!!”
Interestingly, Louis and Harvey shared one of the most compelling relationships in Suits. As colleagues and long-time rivals, Louis often envied Harvey’s confidence, success and popularity, fueling many of their clashes over promotions, recognition and status within the firm.
Despite jealousy and constant competition, the two developed a deep mutual respect and loyalty over the years, ultimately proving that they could rely on each other when it mattered most.
