Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor may not be able to escape the inquiry this time as strict new measures are being introduced to obtain evidence.
King Charles’ disgraced brother has been under investigation by several forces. The investigations don’t just surround the “misconduct in public office” that prompted the arrest in February.
The investigation has fully expanded into Andrew’s ties to pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and how involved the former royal had been in the operations carried out.
Andrew also faces allegations of sexual abuse of minors and facilitating the trafficking that took place. Then there is the matter of the shady business deals.
All these accusations require solid evidence; therefore, prosecutors have made some big demands. According to The Mirror report, the tech giants have been ordered to preserve all correspondence conducted by Andrew.
New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez has sent letters to more than two dozen companies, including email, cloud and messaging services such as Google, WhatsApp and Yahoo. American Express and Expedia have also received them.
A source revealed to the outlet that Andrew visited Zorro Ranch several times, so the entire staff there has already been questioned.
In the next set of steps, “preservation orders issued by prosecutors are important because they hope to capture communications involving Epstein, Maxwell and all those who stayed there. It’s about making sure evidence is preserved before it disappears”.
