House of the Dragon season 3 has received a dramatic and fiery new trailer – and an official launch date ahead of its mid-2026 premiere.
A little over two months ago House of the Dragon 3‘s first teaser was released online, HBO has given us a new look at the life-threatening events to come in the Game of Thrones prequels next chapter. At the end of the trailer, it is also confirmed that the high fantasy drama’s third season will make its long-awaited debut on 21 June 2026 in North and South America, and June 22, 2026 everywhere else.

Before its official release date was announced, we only knew that House of the Dragon season 3 would air sometime in June. With few other major TV series set to arrive in the sixth month of the year – currently, Avatar: The Last Airbender season 2, which hits Netflix on June 25, is the only other major show coming around that time — it seems House of the Dragon‘s next installment will also have very little competition.
