Mexico defeated South Africa, 2-0, in the opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Thursday. Now, the U.S. men’s national team is ready to launch its World Cup campaign on home soil Friday night in Inglewood, California.
USMNT and Paraguay kick off at 9:00 PM ET from Los Angeles Stadium. The USMNT, coached by Mauricio Pochettino, enters Friday at No. 17 in the FIFA world rankings.
