Oi, listen up: it’s almost time to watch the last episode The boys.
That’s right, the Amazon TV Original’s fifth season — and the show itself — ends with this week’s episode. And while The boys season 5 has been heavily criticized by sections of its fanbase for its plot pacing and countless other issues, I’m willing to bet every single one of the satirical superhero series’ viewers will tune in to see how it ends.

The boys‘ story capper will make its Prime Video debut at 12:00 PM PT / 3:00 AM ET Wednesday, May 20.
At least that will be the case in North and South America. The rest of the world will be able to catch it on one of the top streaming services on the aforementioned date, but its launch time will vary depending on where you live.

Will there be a season 6 of The Boys?
If you somehow skipped all of the above: no, The boys ends after the season 5 finale drops on Prime Video.
That said, the R-rated franchise will continue once the main show ends. Vought Risinga prequel starring Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy is set to premiere sometime in 2027.
Meanwhile, franchise overlord Eric Kripke has said other spin-offs are in the works, including a contemporary Mexico-set show. A third season of Gene Vwhich would have been put in a post-The boys however, the world is not on the agenda due to its recent cancellation.
