The British royal family marked King Charles’ official birthday with the traditional Trooping the Color ceremony, a spectacular display of British military precision.
Thousands of royal fans and other onlookers gathered to enjoy the occasion, which featured some of Britain’s most distinguished regiments.
This year’s parade represents the fourth time the monarch has presided over the celebrations since taking the throne.
The Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children stole the show as they joined King Charles and Queen Camilla along with other senior royals.
Kensington Palace shared a series of posts to the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official Instagram, where the Welsh and other royals celebrated with fans and soldiers at Trooping the Colour.
In another post, Kate Middleton is seen having fun with her children. Catherine and her daughter Princess Charlotte coordinated their looks for this year’s Trooping the Color events.
Not only did Charlotte subtly match her mother and brothers with the light blue details on her dress, but she and Princess Kate also wore matching pearl bracelets.

In the video, obtained by the palace, the 44-year-old princess is seen showing off her grace in a light blue Catherine Walker dress, topped with a coordinating Philip Treacy hat.
Her sons Prince George, 12, and Prince Louis, 8, matched her in dark blue suits with light blue ties.
Charlotte, 11, had small light blue details sewn into her dress to keep the theme with her family.
Catherine joined Queen Camilla and the King on the dais in her capacity as Colonel of the Irish Guards, while approximately 8,000 family members of participating guards and officers filled the surrounding stands.

Three royal colonels rode on horseback behind the king’s carriage: the Prince of Wales in his role as colonel of the Welsh Guards, the Princess Royal as colonel of the Blues and Royals, and the Duke of Edinburgh representing the Scots Guards.
Leading the procession was the Band of the Household Cavalry, accompanied by two shire horses carrying stout silver kettle drums.

The palace wrote: “With thanks to the 1,400 members of the armed forces who took part in today’s Trooping the Colour, and with special mention to the Grenadier Guards who trooped their new colour. We salute you.”
In a historic first line, personnel from the Army, Royal Navy and RAF Regiment lined the ceremonial route alongside units ranging from the 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards to 26 Engineer Regiment, Royal Lancers and the 16th and 4th Regiments Royal Artillery.
