The US men’s national soccer team starts the World Cup race with a big win
Dan Dakich analyzes the US Men’s National Soccer Team’s impressive 4-1 World Cup win against Paraguay. He emphasizes the team’s speed and confidence, attributing it to the experience of many players at higher levels. This strong start positions Team USA well for their upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 showdown.

In case you missed it, yesterday was a pretty significant day for the USA at the World Cup. The Americans beat their group, which means they advance. Not only that, but they have looked really strong and they were able to win this one without one of their best players. Maybe there is hope for the USA to win the World Cup after all. We also took another win in their game as it ended 2-0 which gave us some money on the under – it was a bet that Geoff Clark and I both liked and shared with all readers. Let’s try to get some money in Saturday’s games.

Netherlands against Sweden
The Netherlands come into this game behind their opponent in the rankings. They played Japan in their World Cup opener and drew the match. Japan is a pretty strong team so I suppose there shouldn’t be much frustration there. They were the better team in the game and a late goal allowed a draw, so perhaps that was the only reason for frustration. Sweden won their opening match against Tunisia 5-1. It wasn’t a tough match, and frankly, it probably didn’t do much to prepare them for this match against a stronger opponent. This is not to say that Sweden is a bad team, but it will be a bigger challenge.
I like the draw again in this one. Sweden would actually be happy to grab a draw as it would give them four points and bury the Netherlands a bit. Obviously they will win, but I don’t fancy their chances. I think Holland can play on some of their strengths and give Sweden a fight. I’ll take a trip with the raffle. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Sweden take a lead and try to nurture it for most of the game, so it makes me a little wary of taking over, especially with how juicy the line is.
USA’S WORLD CUP TEAM GETS PLACE IN KNOCKOUT STAGE AFTER ANOTHER HISTORIC PERFORMANCE AGAINST AUSTRALIA

Germany against the Ivory Coast
I won’t go into too much depth on this one as Germany should absolutely dominate this game. In the first World Cup match, Germany shook Curacao. And if you haven’t seen it, they were honestly just thrilled to score a goal in the game. It was a 7-1 victory for Germany. Ivory Coast played well in their matchup with Ecuador, but it was not a particularly dominant performance. They won 1-0, which gives them three points. The goal came in the 90th minute of the match. Other than that, most of the stats from that game look pretty even.
In this one, we know that Germany is going to be on the offensive. I wouldn’t say that Ecuador did it to Ivory Coast. I don’t expect the Germans to score seven goals, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see them score three or more here. I think Ivory Coast have a decent defensive plan, but there are many options for a team as good as Germany. Give me their team total over 2.5 goals. It is at +145, so we would get a nice payout.

One final note: I don’t hate the idea of a Germany/Japan World Cup moneyline today. Both teams should win. I wouldn’t say the payout is phenomenal, but it’s a decent option if you’re looking for something extra.
