WrestleMania 42: Bron Breaker costs Seth Rollins match against Gunther

LAS VEGAS – Seth Rollins was supposed to face Gunther at WrestleMania 42 on Saturday night, but he didn’t expect a freight train to run through him.

Rollins seemed to be in the driver’s seat towards the end of the match. He hit Gunther with a pedigree on the announce table and followed up with a hurricanrana. All he had to do was get Gunther back in the ring and finish the job. As the referee tended to Gunther, a wild Bron Breaker appeared.

Breaker ran down the side of the entrance ramp at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas at full speed and tore through Rollins with a gnarled spear. He rolled Rollins back into the ring, spit on him and waited for Gunther to finish the job.

Gunther put Rollins in a sleeper and forced “The Revolutionary” to tap out.

Gunther went at the back as the winner. Breaker was hung around to separate the remains.

Breaker sprinted back down the ramp and hit Rollins with another crushing spear that stunned the crowd.

Breaker has been out of action for a few weeks with an injury, which likely cost him a match of some sort at WrestleMania 42. Nevertheless, he still had bad blood with Rollins as their rivalry kicked up a notch.

This won’t be the last of Breaker and Rollins. On the other hand, Paul Heyman will now owe Gunther a favor. It will be interesting to see how the service is cashed in.
