LAS VEGAS – WrestleMania is one of the biggest spectacles in sports.
It is the premier event for WWE, combining the fanfare of the Super Bowl with the hard-hitting action of martial arts. The biggest feuds in the company will come to an end while fans hold out hope for a big return or surprise appearance from one of their favorite stars.
For the professional wrestlers themselves, the event means just a little bit more. It’s the culmination of everything they’ve worked for and a chance to showcase their skills to an audience of thousands in a stadium and millions watching at home.

You can just look around this room and see it gathers so many people. There are so many events going on. So many people can actually come and meet their favorite wrestler. And to me, that’s what it’s all about. It doesn’t matter what’s going on in your life, wrestling can just take it all away and get a little more personal with it. It’s amazing to me.
Alex Shelley
“A lot of people who don’t watch pro wrestling want to see WrestleMania. I feel like this is Mecca to the point where it’s the equivalent of the Super Bowl. People who are kind of on the fringes, only hearing about pro wrestling, are going to see this event. Our performers and our athletes in this company, people we work with, give everything those people do to get it.”
Bayley
“To me, when I was a kid, WrestleMania always felt like it was on another planet because of the theatrics because of the stage, the fireworks, the costumed people — like, not just the wrestlers and the performers, but the people in the crowd. They treat it like they’re going to prom or they’re going to a 50th wedding anniversary and they’ve just been preparing for it all year and they’ve just been planning it all year. like it’s in another facility, like it’s so way out of reach because when you are in the stadium everyone is there nothing else matters in the world.

“And for me, it’s a very special feeling that’s hard to explain unless you’re there. Even when you’re watching TV, it’s like you want to be there. For me, it’s very special because my family and friends, you know, they don’t come to everything. They don’t come to all the games as much as they would love to, or an excuse for them all to leave the house and leave their homes and all. There for me, but it’s just one of those rare times, that everybody gets together. So I think there’s a group of friends that they only see once a year and it’s just your crazy uncle at WrestleMania. It just brings family and friends together and it’s a very special night.

“I think if everybody’s on the same wavelength, this is the pinnacle of everything they’ve worked for all year long. This is the biggest show in pro wrestling. Everybody who puts in that effort makes the show that much bigger. It’s a showman. It’s the biggest thing in sports entertainment.”
Danhausen
“Everybody grew up watching WrestleMania. As a wrestler, it’s the dream. It’s No. 1 in the wrestling world.”
Jacy Jayne
“I mean, it’s like our Super Bowl. You wait for it all year long. It’s where legends are made and it’s the biggest show of the year. There’s so much that goes into it and only the obsessed make the card.”

Jade Cargill
“It’s our Super Bowl. All of our storylines are coming to an end, but new storylines are also forming because we have Raw on the Monday, which is the biggest Raw of the year after WrestleMania, because storylines come out of ‘Mania. That’s the benefit of it all. Rhea and I’s story started around February in the Elimination Chamber and it came out of nowhere and it came out of nowhere this year. the biggest entrances of the year, the best gear of the year … But you see a lot of hard hitting and a lot of emotion and that gets people invested and that’s why we continue to show up and show off every single year.
Ricky Saints
“WrestleMania is the culmination of all the hard work from all year leading up to this moment where you go out there and you show every single person who you are and what you’re made of and I think it’s a great testament to the wrestlers themselves to come to a ‘Mania because it’s like I was finally able to do what I’ve had a lifelong dream that everybody would be able to Wrestle. achieve a dream that you’ve had since childhood if you don’t have experienced it, I don’t know, it’s an unearthly type of feeling to have.”

Scarlett Bordeaux (ex-WWE)
“It feels like the first time every year that all of wrestling comes together for one event. So even if you can’t afford tickets to WrestleMania, there’s all these incredible independent shows going on that week that you can see and everybody’s just enjoying wrestling. The Wrestling Super Bowl is honestly the best way to put it, honestly, like I honestly fell in love with it. It was really, really, I didn’t get to see wrestling when I was a kid, so it was going to these more intimate shows, and it wasn’t until later that I understood the joy of WWE, but it was the independent shows that got me, honestly.
Sol Ruca
“To hear some of the fans talk about what WrestleMania means to them, because again, I didn’t grow up watching wrestling, I was never really a fan, but to hear some of the fans during the meet and greet say, ‘I’ve been saving up all year for this moment,’ like ‘I’ve been saving up so I can buy this merch and so we can go to the show, really see it and it’s really cool to see’ These are passionate people who are not in the business. It’s a full time job, so in a way it’s like our celebration of the year, but it’s kind of a reset, but it’s a way for us to end it all.
Tony D’Angelo
“It’s the Super Bowl of pro wrestling. It’s a culmination of everything you’ve done throughout the year. All the hard work. All the training. All the ups and downs of what happened throughout the year. I mean, WrestleMania is special. Every WrestleMania something unexpected happens or someone wins that you didn’t think would win.”
