- Aston Martin has just unveiled the Dreadnought, a digital-only military SUV designed exclusively for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4
- It has robust armor plating and a powerful V12 engine
- The vehicle will be featured in the game’s DMZ mode and free to play War zone battle royale
Legendary luxury automaker Aston Martin has just unveiled the Dreadnought, a heavily armored four-wheel drive SUV said to offer “supercar levels of performance” and “elite tactical performance” on the battlefield.
Its Chiltern Green painted body combines robust military armor plating with advanced aerodynamics to deliver a powerful combination of both speed and protection, while the interior includes luxury touches such as an Oxford Tan leather dashboard and golden gear lever.
Under the hood, it boasts a mammoth V12 engine and comes with a unique array of combat-oriented features such as dedicated weapons storage and spare fuel tanks.
Its name is meant to conjure up images of HMS Dreadnought, a famous 20th-century British vessel so significant that it spawned an entirely new class of battleship.
The catch? It’s not a vehicle you’ll actually be able to buy; it’s a digital-only concept designed exclusively for the upcoming video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.
According to the automaker’s chief creative officer, Marek Reichman, designing the vehicle posed a “not inconsiderable challenge” to recreate what Aston Martin could be in a virtual world where “the only limit is the imagination.”
Although the car is fictional, Reichman said it was envisioned as “a vehicle that lives in the real world” throughout the design process, and therefore “feels really real.”
You will be able to get behind the wheel of the Aston Martin Dreadnought Modern Warfare 4′s DMZ mode when the game launches on October 20, 2026. It will also appear in free-to-play Battle Royale Call of Duty Warzone.
Fans attending the upcoming Fanatics Fest in New York will be able to see a full-size model of the car in the flesh at Call of Duty stand.
