- A car company will have a company-wide shutdown on November 19, 2026 due to employees taking time off per GTA 6
- Burger Motorsports advises that their normal services may experience delays GTA 6launch date
- There is still no sign of a potential delay from Rockstar Games
Rockstar Games has players eagerly waiting in anticipation for one of the biggest games of all time GTA 6 is in the pipeline for a Nov. 19 launch — and one non-gaming company has already made plans ahead of it.
Auto parts and tuning company Burger Motorsports has released an internal announcement that it will be on a temporary ‘company-wide operational hiatus’ on November 19 as several team members will not be available once GTA 6 launches.
It notes that several departments within the company, such as customer support, shipping, social media and order processing, may experience delays, while everything is expected to return to seemingly normal after the launch date, which it stated “once employees have completed their initial exploration, completed at least one mission, and returned to reality.”
Honestly, it’s hard to tell if this is just a joke with the company playing into the hype of gaming’s biggest release in 2026, or if it really intends to push for a company-wide shutdown — and if it’s the latter, it shouldn’t be a huge surprise.

It goes without saying GTA 6‘s launch is essentially a worldwide moment, especially for gaming enthusiasts, and it’s no surprise that plenty of employees have already set their sights on November 19 as a day off. Whether or not this is truly a joke, it wouldn’t be far-fetched to suggest that other companies could follow suit.
Fortunately, as it stands, GTA 6 is still very much locked in for a November 19th launch, with Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick recently confirming the date, and reliable insider Nate The Hate rumored that the game will arrive in November unless something ‘unexpected and catastrophic’ goes wrong.
It has definitely been one very long waiting time GTA 6 to arrive, not just as a result of a long 13-year wait after GTA 5‘s publication, but also since GTA 6‘s official 2022 announcement. We can only hope that there are no more planned delays at this time.
