Apex Court fixes Imran’s contempt plea for July 20

ISLAMABAD:

The Supreme Court has finally fixed for July 20 (Monday) the contempt proceedings over non-implementation of its order allowing meetings with PTI founder Imran Khan.

A three-judge bench headed by Justice MuhammadAli Mazahar will hear the case

contempt petition for non-implementation of its March 24 order directing jail authorities to allow the PTI founder to meet his family members and lawyers.

On June 18, the same bench issued notices to all the respondents, including the Superintendent of Adiala Jail and the Punjab Home Minister. Notices were also issued to the Attorney General of Pakistan and the Attorney Generals of Islamabad and Punjab.

Meanwhile, the same bench will take up the case of Imaan Mazari lawyer and her husband on July 21.
