NEW Strands today (game #776) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #776, are…
- BUDGET
- BARGAIN
- CHEAP
- AFFORDABLE
- SALE
- SPANGRAM: ON THE CHEAP
- My assessment: Easy
- My score: Perfect
I know it’s becoming a bit of a Strands trend, but I always get a little weirded out when spangram isn’t the longest word in the game.
Fortunately, both CHEAP and CHEAP were easy enough to spot and connect. As for the spanframe, I’m sure I wasn’t alone in looking “cheap” and being puzzled when it didn’t turn blue.
Apart from these very minor quibbles, this was a straightforward game with some easy corner spots.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Friday, April 17, Game #775)
- OYSTER
- CLAM
- CONC
- ABALONE
- LIMPED
- CLAM
- SCAMMING
- SPANGRAM: Mollusks
