Wapda has awarded a contract worth Rs640 million for the construction of two public schools at Seo Village in Upper Kohistan district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
The contract signing ceremony was held at the project office, said a message received on Friday. According to the contract, both schools will be completed in two years and will house the latest classrooms, computers and science laboratories equipped with modern gadgets and staff quarters.
The projects are part of an initiative ‘Local Area Development Programme’ from the Dasu Hydropower Project.
