“TNA Knockouts has changed the landscape of pro wrestling for over two decades,” said Brooks. “Hell, the TNA Knockouts started the women’s revolution. We shattered glass ceilings. We rewrote the rules. We created opportunities and proved time and time again why we belong on the biggest stage. And now it’s time to make history again.
“Beginning this Thursday night, there will be a 16-woman tournament beginning. And at the end of that tournament, we will crown the first ever TNA Knockout Television Champion.”
The belt was taken out and it had the letters “KO” and “TV” in purple and black letters.

Those who will be in the tournament have not yet been announced. Black, Hartwell and Sadè could very well be in the tournament that starts on “Impact”.
“This championship will be defended exclusively on ‘Impact’ television,” Brooks continued. “And for my knockouts, it’s once again an opportunity to prove that you’re the greatest women’s division in professional wrestling.
“Darling, let’s make history.”
