It’s finals week for Scrubs reboot — and after last week’s tear-jerking episode, I expect a similarly emotional final chapter for the medical sitcom’s 10th season.

Scrubs season 10’s last part is coming out Wednesday 15 April at 5pm PT / 8pm ET.

Note, however, that the launch date and time only corresponds to its debut on US cable network ABC. After it premieres on that channel, it will air on Hulu in the US and Disney+ internationally, albeit a day later on Thursday, April 16.

There is no official report on that front yet. There has actually been no public announcement about that Scrubs season 11 is on its way, but there are clear signs that this might not be the last we see of JD and company.
According to audience measurement experts Nielsen (as reported by Variety), when the series returned with a two-episode premiere in late February, it drew 11.4 million viewers during the first five days. This figure takes into account how many people tuned in combined across ABC, Hulu and Disney+.
Crucially, that figure only accounts for US viewers. With international audiences also tuning in, this number is sure to be even higher than what has been reported, further strengthening the show’s case for another season being greenlit.
Right now, however, it is unclear how successful Scrubs has been in retaining viewers no matter how large its global audience was. If its ratings have held steady throughout Season 10’s nine-week run, it will have a much better chance of being renewed. But if fans have lost interest and its ratings have plummeted, it will be harder for its creative team to convince Disney that it deserves another go.
Hopefully we’ll find out sooner rather than later if we’ll be returning to Sacred Heart in the future.
